Tech innovation is key to Akshaya Patra’s success in mass producing hygienic, tasty and nutritious meals for millions of school children. With an eye on quality and efficiency Akshaya Patra has scaled from providing 1,500 meals in 2000 to over 1.8 million meals to children in 19,500 schools daily in 2020. During the pandemic, the organization has provided over 70 million meals to migrant workers in India since lockdown began on March 24th.
