The day will be packed with informative presentations from a variety leaders of ERGs across Austin’s tech industry. They will share valuable advice for creating and growing ERGs that have a solid foundation of sustainability, advocacy, and service. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in breakout sessions to workshop ideas for ERG development in your organization. Finally, the day will end with a keynote presentation on the important role Executive sponsors can play in the success of your ERG and company-wide vision.
What is an ERG? An ERG aka Employee Resource Groups are groups of employees who join together in their workplace based on shared characteristics or life experiences. Groups typically exist for women, the LGBTQIA community, people of color, Latinx, etc. ERGs are commonly called Culture Clubs, Associate Resource Group, Inclusion Resource Groups, Employee Affinity Groups. Being a leader or member of an ERG is an amazing resource for both your personal and professional growth! ERG’s have been proven to positively impact an organization’s revenue, retention and overall bottom line!
We invite all ERG leaders and members to attend to network, learn and share ideas. The event will feature a mix of Pecha Kucha presentations, workshops and keynotes.
